Five-year account growth

Five-year backtest · after modeled order costs and performance fee
ZoomAll 5 yrs3 yrs2 yrs1 yr

Why the five-year result grows this way

The backtest contains 4,764 completed trades and compounds the account after every trade. Position size changes with account equity and the selected risk level, subject to a maximum of $20,000 of risk per trade. Modeled order costs are included, and AMW's 30% performance fee is deducted at the end of each profitable calendar month. Compounding a large number of trades at a fixed percentage of a growing account is what produces the size of the ending value. Read the full methodology →

enter any amount; every figure scales in proportion
Proportional illustration only: this scales the $100,000 backtest to your entered amount. It does not rerun the backtest, broker position sizes are not infinitely divisible, and the $20,000 per-trade risk ceiling means very large accounts would not scale proportionally. The one-time license fee is not deducted here and is waived for accounts starting at $100,000.

AMW Level One vs S&P 500 total return

Same starting balance, same start and end dates. The S&P 500 line is a total return series with dividends reinvested, built from published annual returns; points between year ends are interpolated, so the benchmark line is approximate within each year while its year-end values are exact.
